God Please Send Some Help Tonight

This is a poem my sister wrote. I thought it fit in well with an earlier post Walk in Light. At the end of the post it talks about how God has triuphed over darkness. This poem is a plea for God to do just that.

God Please Send Some Help Tonight
by Noelle Pruitt

In the night there is crash. A child cry's out. In the hospital the mother waits in hope.

God, please send some help tonight.

In the night there is a fire. The family is out safe, but one. A boy of three was scared.

God, please send some help tonight.

In the night there is a kidnapping. A girl of ten is gone.

God, please send some help tonight.

In the night there is a girl. She is sixteen and wishes to die. She looks thin and will not eat.

God, please send some help tonight.
